I play in several groups. If you come out to a live show, here’s what you can expect to hear:

Elias Haslanger Quintet plays music firmly rooted in the modern jazz tradition of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter and others. The instrumentation is always a quintet and usually features acoustic piano, acoustic double bass, drums, tenor saxophone and trumpet or guitar. We play mostly original compositions but also mix in songs from the Blue Note era of jazz I.E. Speak No Evil and others. Join the Facebook page

Palladium is a jazz/rock/world music group that plays music drawn from influences like Weather Report, Herbie Hancock Headhunters, Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker and The Yellowjackets. The instrumentation includes electric keyboard, electric bass, drums, saxophone and guitar. The group performs original compositions and a few tunes by Weather Report (Palladium, 3 Views of A Secret) and the Headhunters (Chameleon). Join the Facebook page.

3 Jazz Collective plays songs primarily by Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, Tom Jobim and John Coltrane. The instrumentation is electric guitar, acoustic bass, drums and saxophone. Check out the Facebook page.

Serpentine is a unique group led by Gaute Solaas. The music is jazz/rock influenced but can be difficult to categorize. The instrumentation is 3 tenor saxophones, bass and drums. We play all original music written by Gaute. Check out the Serpentine Facebook page.
